Pushing the traditional boundaries of medical technology


The main capability of Exonicus is the production of Modeling & Simulation visualizations in 3D virtual reality, specifically virtual reality simulations in military medical training.


The company is promoting its product Trauma Simulator in the European Military Medical Army training centers and hospitals.


Exonicus partner and main medical consultant is Military Medicine Research and Study Center, Medical Education Technology Centre of Riga Stradins University (RSU). RSU provides medical advice to Exonicus software developers and 3D artists, writes emergency medical scenarios and validates the Trauma Simulator product.


The Ministry of Defence program awarded grant to Exonicus for the development of an emergency medical care virtual reality training simulator. This was the second grant competition, and the Ministry of Defence received 25 project applications which were evaluated based on: product use in the defence sector, overall ability to develop the project, product novelty, technological capacity, involvement of research institutions, as well as international competitiveness and influence on the applicants future business.


Exonicus in cooperation with Riga Stradiņš University within two months developed a digital product “Safe use of personal protective equipment: video instruction and computer simulation for medical and support persons”, website and simulation in digital environment “Covid- 19 PPE RED”
